Today, i learned a lot of interesting facts about Davao. Oh btw, yesterday’s Blog paty was great and interesting. It was my 2nd time to attend this kind of event and it gave me more reasons to blog or to keep on blogging.
Now about the Davao facts that i’m saying earlier, i listed down the things i learned from dabawenyo’s and couple of taxi drivers.
- 90% of Davao’s establishments offers free Wi-Fi (haven for bloggers).
- 80% of their taxi’s are non-aircon. (cheap and economical). though on our way to airport i leaned from the cab driver that by next year Davao will be facing out non-aircon taxi’s.
- Davao has a liquor ban @ 2 a.m. (good news for concerned parents and housewives
) - They have durian flavored capuccino.
- they have the cheapest internet cafe. 4 pesos/hr for a game of DOTA. (too bad i don’t play that game).
- For as low as 250 pesos you can go to the beach. Costa Marina is way better than Puerto Galera.
Promise, I’ll go back to davao again!
Going to the beach can be a lot cheaper, medyo high end resort ata na puntahan niyo
The great thing about it is that its just a 10 minute drive or 5 minute boat ride, depending on whether you want white sand or not *snicker*

@ hoop
we went to Costa Marina beach resort. 24 pesos round trip fare for banca then 80 pesos entrance. That’s cheap compared to puerto and anilao.
